Siemens Orbiter is another product of Siemens Orbiter which is available as a specialized gamma-chema device in nuclear medicine department. The gamma camera system has a small، circular and compact FOV field of view with a diameter of 38.7 cm، which is used for small field of view scans such as thyroid scans، parathyroid of the lacrimal ducts، etc. The Siemens Orbiter Gamma-Lumbar requires low space for operation.
The Siemens Orbiter Gamma-Camera® has a single detector.
The crystal used in the Siemens Orbiter system is sodium iodide with a thickness of 9.5 mm.
The output of the images of the Siemens Orbiter is DICOM, which will give the system the ability to send the images to the center or hospital PACS.
NuQuest® software، which can be easily installed on a laptop، is installed on the camera and works for the system ecosystem software.
